Along with prohibition many people started to break that law by making and selling alcohol.
Gangs started to form and speakeasies were getting more popular.
One particular gangster was very popular during the prohibition era, Al Capone. Al Copone started to gain most of his business around the year 1901. He and his gang members were bringing in $60 million, mostly from beer, in 1927.
